Project Summary

PollinateTO provides funding of up to $5,000 to support community-led projects that directly result in the creation of publicly visible pollinator habitat and rain gardens in Toronto. Community education and engagement components of projects inspire others and extend the reach of pollinator stewardship locally. All non-profits, schools, spiritual centres and resident groups of 3+ people are eligible for funding. Since 2019, PollinateTO has supported the creation of 500 gardens across Toronto. The program prioritizes Indigenous and Black-led projects, projects serving equity-deserving groups, and projects located in Neighbourhood Improvement Areas.
